It doesn't mean you cannot address her issue. Just do it off list.

No! It's a Windows function and should be discussed on a
list dedicated to Windows issues. This is an audio list. I
don't know why that's so difficult to understand.

OK folks! This is a Windows issue and has nothing to do with
audio. Please do not post anymore comments on this subject.

Thank you.

What JAWS version (if any) do you have? If you have 10, I'm pretty sure
someone here (including me) are willing to help you figure it out.

Select all the files that you want, by pressing (ctrl A), (ctrl C) to copy
to clip board, go to you hard drive, press (ctrl V), and you should be OK.

I totally agree with Dave. I have lost files using the move command. But
in addition, I have found moving a large amount of files isn't always good.
So if you are moving say 100 files, try it in 25 at a time to save you from
gitting an error of one in the middle of a large number not being able to
copy for whatever reason. Then you have to start from where you left off
again.

Well the quick and dirty way is to copy and paste. Just highlight the
file
or files, hit controlC then highlight the drive or directory where you
want

the files to go and hit control v. Personally, I suggest copying rather
than using the "move" command because then if something breaks you still
have the original files.

How is the easiest way to move .WMA, MP3S, and Ogg Vorbous from my
laptop to my external drive? Do the ways change from laptop and desktop?
   Thanks,
