Also have a look at Ruark Audio and see if they might have something to suit.

Yes, Docks are disappearing as people prefer Bluetooth or Airplay.

Deion also have the Cocoon DSD501 still available which you may consider.

Thanks Dane, I'll check this out. I've looked at B ones as you suggested.
Although they have AirPlay none has Digital out. Come to think of it, I
wouldn't be surprised if digital out is forbidden by Apple's licence to use
their proprietary lightning connector. It would be too easy to record DRM
Apple Music onto a PC, for instance?

Actually now I think of it I think you’re quite right about the digital out and
my fault as I was thinking about digital in.

There are of course products from that wonderful firm Arco that will take an
Airplay signal from an Apple device and give you a digital out connection, the
Apple Airport Express will do the same and might be the pick if you already
have a good DAC.

I have an older dock - Pure DI100 - I thin kit is which also has a digital out,
dock and AirPlay though this probably wouldn’t suit your requirements if you’re
specifically looking for a device with a Lightning connector as the Pure has a
30 pin connector but I still wouldn’t get rid of it for the simple reason that
it has a digital out.
