Re: Rewritable cd's

2009-11-12 Thread DJ DOCTOR P

Not So!
I have made a copy of an audio CD from that CDRW.
I had to do that at the time because, I had a pare of older CD players that
wouldn't play CD's that were burned on computers.

So for me, this was the way to go.

High Robert,
I have more then a few times.
What I would do is, convert the files to wave, and then burn them to
CDRW.

And then I would copy them to CDR.

High Robert,
Yes it can.
I do this with Roxeo all the time.
All you need to do is, put the CD that you wish to make a copy of in
the drive #1, and the blank disc in drive #2.
After that, you just tell your computer to burn what's on disc #1 on to
disc #2 and it's done!

My best regards.

Re: Rewritable cd's

2009-11-10 Thread Les Gordon

hello, if you dont use a burning program, you can use windows explorer.
when you insert a blank cd into the drive a list of options will appear.
click open writable cd folder. then click on the folder name where the files
are stored. then copy each track. then when you click on write to cd you
will have options 1. audio cd and 2 data cd. check 1 of those and then hit
next.
depending on setup windows media player opens and you select start burn. and
it flies no problem.

i use this all the time. but i also use nero 8.

thanks les

Thanks for a prompt reply.
I burn with WMP 11 and after loading the temporary folder, in the file
menu,

I enter on: write these files to a cd. The wizzard opens and pressing,
next, button the burn immediately begins and burns a beta cd; the dialog
box
in which a beta or audio can be selected does not appear, and, I end up
with

a beta cd instead of an audio the disc cannot be reused. Any help

Another method you may consider, what about using the "Test write mode" in
the burning application you're using? In this mode, the drive does a write
of the CD but turns the laser off so no data is written to the drive at all,
this is handy for checking to see if there are any errors when writing to
CD'S.
