Re: a gold wave question about inserting audio
you have to put your start marker at the place in the file where you want to insert the audio and then do a control v to paste the audio in to that position. Greetings, Install the scripts (in my case) in: c:\documents and settings\colin\application data\freedom scientific\jaws 10\settings\enu (substitute whatever yours is for colin) then compile the GoldWave.jss file, job completed. Hello Listers, I am using gold wave 5.56 XP pro jaws 11. Ware do I have to install the latest scripts? Is there any tips and tricks on recording etc? Re: gold wave question
First tip is to take a few minutes to read the appropriate sections in the manual, the document is well laid out and is accessible through the Goldwave Help menu, your browser will load with the manual so just select the sections you wish to read by following the links. Now this is only me but I don't use Goldwave for recording myself as I find there are better alternatives for Recording, I use Goldwave for editing of course smile. Again, only my opinion. A gold wave question
Hello, I'm using gold wave 5.25 that is installed on a machine using windows 7 ultimate. My question is the following: How can I record over a track, meaning where I can sing along? I've messed with stereo mix, and I can only hear the track. If I set it to microphone, I can only hear myself. What am I doing wrong and how can I remed this issue? Thanks. Re: A gold wave question
Hi, You mix the two sounds together. take your original track. start playing it, and while it's playing, record your other track, making sure to have stereo mix turned off. then, copy the 2nd track to your clipboard. in goldwave, in another open file, play until you've reached the point where you want to paste. i do believe you can just pause the recording, press control m for mixing, and tell it to paste in the content of the clipboard. You can preview it to make sure the two tracks are synchronized the way you want. it would be nice to be able to do realtime multi track recording, gw can't perform that task. I think sonar can, and there was a program, ntrack I do believe, that could do it. msn bellevue@gmail.com skype lord_of_beer last fm http://last.fm/lord_of_beer - Original Message - From: armando maldonado armando.maldonado0...@gmail.com To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, August 24, 2010 4:33 PM Subject: A gold wave question Hello, I'm using gold wave 5.25 that is installed on a machine using windows 7 ultimate. a gold wave question
Hi listers. I am trying to mix some files with goldwave. The file I am trying to move things from is Jamison Fife.wav. The file I am working in is Statesman. I am in the file statesman, and I move back to Jameison Fife. I put my eddit Markets on the selected audio I want. I then go back to the file Statesman and make sure all the marker points are set at the first to the end of the file. Then I move the left marker to the end of the file. I then go back to my arigenal file I am working on called Jameson Fife. I hit contral C to copy the text to the clip board. Then I go back to Statesman and hit contral V to pase the selected audio in the file. However, when I play the file back it doesn't copy the new audio over to the fiel I am working in. Even when I launch the wave file in Winamp it doesn't paly the selected audio. Why is this. This use to work very good for me. I will talk to you later. Re: Another Gold Wave question
for me it added features I just didn't need. For example, when splitting a file I only need set my options once. In v.12 every time I would go to split a file I would have to choose the format type of how it should look. IE. ##filename. Once I set this in v.06 it stayed the same until I needed to change it.Otherwise I had no problems with it. Since I rip a lot of books that need to be split v.12 became an unnecessary headache. ** Let a smile be your lantern of joy robert Doc Wright http://www.wrightplaceinc.net skype: talmidim msn [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Original Message - From: Bruce Toews [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Monday, February 19, 2007 11:50 AM Subject: Re: Another Gold Wave question What don't you like about 5.12? Re: Gold Wave Question
I used Gold Wave without scripts for years with no problem. Scripts have been written for Gold Wave which make it that much more convenient, but they are not required. Gold wave question
Hello All, I am just starting to use Gold wave program now so please forgive me if I ask questions that have been asked before. I am looking for the LAME file and so far I cannot find it any where so if someone could tell me where to find this I would be very much appreciative. Another question is how do I do recording of streaming audio? I am using WinAmp also for the radio and many other things. When giving me the instructions please make them as simple to follow as you can pleas as I am a very slow learner. Re: Gold wave question
When I downloaded and installed Gold Wave, a couple of months ago, There was a note that said that I would need the Lame file. I think I got it from the Goldwave site. It puts an icon on the desktop that's called Razor Lame. Check around on www.goldwave.com Lois Goodine. ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
