you have to put your start marker at the place in the file where you
want to insert the audio and then do a control v to paste the audio in
to that position.

Re: gold wave question

2011-04-01 Thread Dane Trethowan
First tip is to take a few minutes to read the appropriate sections in the
manual, the document is well laid out and is accessible through the Goldwave
Help menu, your browser will load with the manual so just select the sections
you wish to read by following the links.

Now this is only me but I don't use Goldwave for recording myself as I find
there are better alternatives for Recording, I use Goldwave for editing of
course smile.

Again, only my opinion.

A gold wave question

2010-08-24 Thread armando maldonado
Hello,
I'm using gold wave 5.25 that is installed on a machine using windows 7

meaning where I can sing along? I've messed with stereo mix, and I can only
hear the track. If I set it to microphone, I can only hear myself. What am I
doing wrong and how can I remed this issue? Thanks.

Hi,

You mix the two sounds together.

take your original track.
start playing it, and while it's playing, record your other track, making
sure to have stereo mix turned off.

then, copy the 2nd track to your clipboard.
in goldwave, in another open file, play until you've reached the point where
you want to paste.
i do believe you can just pause the recording, press control m for mixing,
and tell it to paste in the content of the clipboard. You can preview it to
make sure the two tracks are synchronized the way you want.

it would be nice to be able to do realtime multi track recording, gw can't
perform that task. I think sonar can, and there was a program, ntrack I do
believe, that could do it.

Hi,

it's under tools speech converter. I've not played with it, but I think it
only deals with your default voice, which can be set in the conrol panel

so, basicly any sapi 5 voice, and I'm guessing sapi 4. you can right click

Hi listers. I am trying to mix some files with goldwave. The file I am trying

make sure all the marker points are set at the first to the end of the file.

text to the clip board. Then I go back to Statesman and hit contral V to pase
the selected audio in the file. However, when I play the file back it doesn't
copy the new audio over to the fiel I am working in. Even when I launch the
wave file in Winamp it doesn't paly the selected audio. Why is this. This use
to work very good for me. I will talk to you later.

RE: Another Gold Wave question

2007-02-19 Thread Tom
In Gold Wave F5 goes to the end of the file then starts to
play it in reverse. You can then press F6 to pause, press F6
again and the file will start to play at that position. If
you want to continue going backward press F5 and the file
will continue to play in reverse. You can adjust the speed
of the reverse playback speed.

Does anyone know how to quickly skip from the beginning of a

Re: Another Gold Wave question

2007-02-19 Thread Doc
for me it added features I just didn't need. For example, when splitting a
file I only need set my options once. In v.12 every time I would go to
split a file I would have to choose the format type of how it should
look. IE. ##filename. Once I set this in v.06 it stayed the same until I
needed to change it.Otherwise I had no problems with it. Since I rip a lot
of books that need to be split v.12 became an unnecessary headache.

Hi Gang:

Has anyone been able to script JAWS so that one can audibly travel around
a
GoldWave work space via the cursor keys and the PageUp-PaGeDown keys as
one

can in SoundForge? This is one of the great weaknesses in GoldWave.

I have tried to use the same scripting process used in Soundforge with
relation to the GoldWave View to End option; however, the GoldWave
program

itself does not respond well to this scripting technique.

If anyone can shed some light as to how to resolve this problem, I would
appreciate it all over the place.

Thanks gang.

 Subject: GoldWave Question.

I used Gold Wave without scripts for years with no problem. Scripts have
been written for Gold Wave which make it that much more convenient, but
they are not required.

Gold wave question

2005-03-03 Thread Andrew Shipp
Hello All, I am just starting to use Gold wave program now so please forgive
me if I ask questions that have been asked before. I am looking for the
LAME file and so far I cannot find it any where so if someone could tell me
where to find this I would be very much appreciative.

Another question is how do I do recording of streaming audio? I am using
WinAmp also for the radio and many other things.

When giving me the instructions please make them as simple to follow as you
can pleas as I am a very slow learner. Regards

When I downloaded and installed Gold Wave, a couple of months ago, There
was a note that said that I would need the Lame file. I think I got it from
the Goldwave site. It puts an icon on the desktop that's called Razor Lame.
Check around on
