What variant of the Audigy do you have and what inputs does your 5.1
control box use? One thing to do after you have everything installed
is to uncheck AC3 decoding under the Audigy and let the external
decoder do the work. A techie from Yamaha mentioned a while back that
the Soundblaster does some weird manipulation and the signal it
presents to the controller isn't quiet up to snuff.

  Hi,

I have a Pioneer receiver, and what I did was to get a Y patch cord with
either a one eighth inch or a quarter inch plug at one end and the other
  two
end would be R C plugs, plug in the R C plugs in the back of your
  receiver
where there is like a vcr input or something like that the other plug
goes
into your computer speaker jack try that. Dave Hutchins
