No, it might not say that other software could transfer files. It
probably mentions Musicmatch because that's the software bundled with
their player. You returned something perfectly good. And by the
way, it makes no difference what you return. You asked a question
and I answered it. I happen to know that both Realplayer and WMP

Re: Question about philips pss110

2005-12-28 Thread Tyler Wood
I believe the player has 256 MB, and I think about 8 hours batterylife. It
features an alarm clock, FM radio, and comes with an FM receever. I'm stil
returning it, though, but I'm guessing, from Timms statement, that it does
work with WMP. But I'm wanting a new stario, and the player was around
$100, so that will go a long way towards the buying of my stario. I'm not
sure on the rest of the specs, but you should find a fare amount of info on
the philips website, although if you want I can look for you.

Did you not read? I did. No success. Like I said I am returning it, because
WMP, realplayer, and my computer (it comes up as a flash drive) don't do any
good. And, to add to that, the files are on the player, yet they don't play.
But really, if you can transfer files to a player using other programs,
would it say that in the book? yes!

No, it might not say that other software could transfer files. It
probably mentions Musicmatch because that's the software bundled with
their player. You returned something perfectly good. And by the
way, it makes no difference what you return. You asked a question

Re: philips pss110

2005-12-27 Thread Tyler Wood
I stil own it, but if your going to be smart like that I won't ask any more
questions. You didn't mention you knew that WMP and realplayer supported it,
you just stated that I was dumb and stupid because I wasn't smart enough to
realize that I couldn transfer files with realplayer or WMP.

If your not going to be smart with me, can you tell me how to transfer files
using WMP (or realplayer, I can get it if I need it)? Do I need a plug-in or
anything?

No, it might not say that other software could transfer files. It
probably mentions Musicmatch because that's the software bundled with
their player. You returned something perfectly good. And by the
way, it makes no difference what you return. You asked a question
and I answered it. I happen to know that both Realplayer and WMP
support that player. It's too bad you weren't smart enough to figure that
 out.

Did you not read? I did. No success. Like I said I am returning it,
because
WMP, realplayer, and my computer (it comes up as a flash drive) don't do
any
good. And, to add to that, the files are on the player, yet they don't
play.
But really, if you can transfer files to a player using other programs,
would it say that in the book? yes!

Apparently you need to do a little more research than just reading
the book. Philips players are supported by both WMP and
Realplayer. Think about it. What are you trying to do. Again I say
there is other software that can replace Musicmatch.

Musicmatch is just a player. There're plenty of them that can
replace that like Windows Media Player or Realplayer. I am not
   aware
that Musicmatch has any more features than they do and they are more
accessible. Musicmatch has had that problem for years and isn't
