problem with WinMx scripts
Hi all! I downloaded WinMx and the scripts for jfw 5 off of the jfwlite page. It said that scripts written for jfw 5 should work with version 6. I am running jfw 6 on an xp pro machine and the scripts won't work. What should I do? Install the scripts into JFW 5 if you haven't taken it off your machine yet. Then run the merge utility in JFW 6.1 and it should work. That's how I got mine to function. Allison, Are you using version 3.31 of WinMx? To my knowledge, scripts haven't yet been written for the later version (3.53). Also, it might be worth checking you have the correct installation path: c:\documents and settings\username\application data\freedom scientific\jaws\6.x\settings\enu. Note X is for the exact version of JFW you have - whether it be 6.0, or .1.
