re question for soundtaxi users

2013-04-18 Thread brian parker
Hi, thanks for your message andre. i have just converted a file in to
wav, and there is still a bit missing from the end. i put the
original in to my victor stream which is formatted to play audible
files, and the file was complete. i don't know what to do about it. i
had a different problem with another audible file. i sent a message
to audible asking for their advice, and they asked me to sent them
the source file. i pointed out, that the file was 7 hours and 52
minutes long. i asked them how i was to send them the file. they came
up with nothing. brian.

Hi andre, the file i have just been trying to convert, is four hours
and 37 minutes long. it should end, with the words, she was gon. all
i have lost is was gone. also, the message at the end of the file,
asking if i enjoyed this audible book. i have sent a message to
soundtaxi, asking for their comments. i will let you and the rest of

soundtaxi, have a bit cut off at the end. did any of you have this
problem. if so, can anything be done. brian.

I also now bought this excellent programme.

One disappointment though.

It seems that you can only save in .wav format should you want to go totally
lossless.

I had some drm protected files which are encoded in wma lossless. It
removes the protection that is fine but it seems that you can can only save
up to a maximum of 320 kbps wma or .wav. the .wav files are of course
lossless but with them you cannot edit tags for artist, album, etc. Even
apple's lossless format would have been fine as I have itunes on my machine.
