Re: sound card and goldwave questions
Betsy, On the Volume tab, Make sure that the sound card/device from which you are recording is selected, AND that the input through which you are recording (line-in, What You Hear, etc.) is checked. ALSO, on the Devices tab, make sure that the sound card/device from which you are recording is selected in the Record Device drop-down. - Original Message - From: Betsy Sawyers [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2007 12:32 PM Subject: Re: sound card and goldwave questions I've tried every single option on the volume tagb. Re: sound card and goldwave questions
OK, I'm probably speaking completely out of turn, but here goes. Just a question. is it possible that the what you hear option has been killed by Microsoft? I know that this has happened in Vista, at least to those computers that have been updated with new drivers written to do so. I'm just throwing this out, because I am hoping the answer is a big NO! g. But you never know. I fully expect for my trusty Audigy Platinum to be crippled any day now. I really don't know if this is even happening to users of XP, I'm just kind of fishing for answer. Can't you tell?
