Hi Alan,

Windows Media Player 9 is a bit old now so it might be hard to find a
tutorial for that version. However you can find a tutorial for Windows
Media Player 11 that has been designed to work with screen readers at
http://tinyurl.com/2hwmrn. I hope this helps.

Regards Steve.

Chester: There are probably other ways that I don't know about. But
typically..if you find a station that streams in Windows Media..that
player should pop up..and the station will begin playing. Hope this helps.

Hi all,

Well, I'm a beginner, so would someone please tell me what skins are? I've
heard the term, but am not sure what they are or how to use them.

Thanks.

Which skins chooser should I be using with Windows Media Player
9? I know with Winamp player one should only use the Classic
skin.

Any help is appreciated.

When I load WMP 9 hhere with JFW 5.00.844 and Win XP home I do
not hear the the Media Library and Radio Tuner items within the
player. So I am guessing I have the wrong skin with WMP 9?

Re: Windows Media Player 9 skins chooser feature

2004-07-20 Thread Marty Rimpau
Hi, Christeen, skins are visual things that make the icons look more
appealing, for example, if you had football skins, the icons might look
like football players, or they have other kinds of useless things for
us that we can't use, so skins to us blind people are totally useless,
but obviously come bundled with the package of players we use.

Windows Media Player 9 DVD playback

2004-07-12 Thread petrakigianos-giasou
Using WMP 9 JFW 5.00.844 to playback a DVD disc but
when I attempt to playback any copyrighted dvd disc
WMP 9 says cannot playback such DVD. Is there a
setting I need to change or do I need to buy another
commercial dvd software program to playback such DVDs.
If so which DVD program work pretty well with screen
readers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
