You want "missingrs" instead of "allrs", otherwise pca will try to
install already installed patches as well.
The Java patches usually are huge and therefore take a lot of time to
install, but I can't remember any hangs when installing them.
ps. btw the state is Installing 119060-63 (11/375) after damned 3
hours and termation of 2 patches
Unless the machine is very old, this is definitely too slow. Check the
process list ("top", etc.) to see if something is blocking the machine.

Hi, this is some crazy bug in the postinstall script or whatever. You should see some java process running with something like register system flag or something like that don't remember what it was called. Just kill that and just installed fine after that. Same thing for java 6.0 iirc. Hello, i have some problems with patching .. i didn't use pca quite long time and now did `pca -V -i allrs --user=$me' and installation of patches takes endless .. is it problem of solaris and retarded java that for example: Failed (13:38:54/00:57:58/00:58:09, 6/375, 0/0/6) -- 118669 38 < 53 RS- 7 JavaSE 5.0_x86: update 51 patch (equivalent to JDK 5.0u51), 64bit ^^ i tried two times and always killed (interrupted) this patch installation hence it seemed just stuck ?
