hi guys, a strange trouble happened here, but reading documetations a little
bit more, i've solved it, before to send my doubts ;)

just to share this trick: if your osceleton is running well, in the same osc
port of you patch, to start to receive the /joint data, you need to do the
amazing PSI POSE.

doing the PSI POSE, you will turn on your osceleton, and everything will run
fine.

reading the f.. manual, i found:

./osceleton -p 7110 -mx 1 -my 1 -mz 1 -ox 0 -oy 0 -oz 1 -a 127.0.0.1

works great, but you need to change your viewpoint

thanks for your patch philippe. it will be a great shortcut for me.

hey hans, thx for sharing this amazing solution!.

are you using some special calibration in the OSCeleton command line?

could you share this also?

im trying using this (i took in a quatz composer tutorial)

./osceleton -p 8110 -mx 2 -my -2 -mz -1 -ox -1 -oy 0.75 -oz 1 -a 127.0.0.1

i'd change my udpreceiver to 8110, but i can se only 1 yellow circle.

[PD] troubles with multichannel output

2010-02-17 Thread palmieri, ricardo
hi people.

im working in an installation using 4 audio+video channels, running in
a quadcore, 2 nvidia9600gt, 4gbram, under ubuntu 9.10 and pd 0.43.

i built this installation last november in argentina. now, we bought a
complete new setup (with some small differences) to replicate the work
in a new museum in lima-peru.

my trouble is: in the last installation, i used a 7.1 onboard
audiocard, with an Intel chipset. using an stupid "alsa force-reload",
i had all the channels opened in PD 0.41 (in ubuntu 9.10) working
great.

now i bought a new motherboard, without a 7.1 channels, and i've tried
to use severals pci audioboard - a 4.1 crystal clear chipset, a 5.1
Via VT1724, and a m-audio 2496 4x4. all of then, in a pci slot.

ok, finally my trouble: i can get all channels working separated in
pd, but, all the time i hear a kind of "metallic" sound instead my
original sound. if i change back to a normal stereo, i can hear the
audio normally.

i made all the test of 5.1, 4.1 and 3.1. i changed to Pd 0.41, 0.42
and 0.43. in all cases, i have the same trouble.
i made some tests also, using vlc and speaker-test, and the
multichannel looks working fine ou of pd.

somebody know how to solve this? i will have my opening in the next 24
feb, and would be amazing to have the 4 audio channels working with my
4 video channels (running in pdp+gem)

thanks a lot

[PD] help with pix_opencv in mac intel

2008-09-17 Thread palmieri, ricardo
hi guys.

i did a sucefull installation of pix_opencv in my powerbook g4 and in
a g5 computer, running os10.4
but im trying to compile using the steps in hangar website, and
everything compile fine. but i have strange a situation using the
object pix_opencv_contours_boundingrect: it only give the data output
to blob 0.
somebody have some tip how to solve it? its a pix_opencv object
trouble, or something in the makefile?
ah, i can see the multiples blobs in my gem window. my trouble is only
with this object and its data output.

thanks again

Re: [PD] [PD-announce] Pd-0.40.3-extended-rc1 released

2008-06-04 Thread palmieri, ricardo
hi fellows..

first, i loved the new interface for mac osx.
here, in my powerbook g4 OSX.4.11, everything works fine.

for now i have three questions:

- is very hard to compile the [pix_artoolkit] with artoolkit support?
- the [pix_opencv_series] will be great, but is the trouble the opencv
dependencies, or have some quick solution to compile it inside the
packet?
- are u thinking in compile the gridflow to the packet, or its a far dream? ;)

anyway, congratulations and thanks a lot for once more great packet hans!

Re: [PD] I can't create Gem objects

2007-03-31 Thread palmieri, ricardo

i think that u need install mpeg libraries. use "aptitude install" and
"aptitude search" to locate these libraries and install then.

after install mpegs libraries, maybe i'll find other errors when initialize
pd. in each error found, look for the library using aptitude tool.

my 2 cents.

I have just made that but when i open pd, it says:

/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/Gem.pd_linux: libmpeg.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
Gem: can't load library

any idea?
