Re: Questions about LR database manipulations
Realized I had a perfect test case right here: - merge without moving, LR just updates the database with the information for the off-line files. - merge with a move: LR updates the DB and tries to move the files, then posts a notice that the off-line files could not be moved. GESO - Wall Art in BsAs
You may have seen a "mural" that I posted recently to PDML under "What have we done?". Also, some PDMLers might remember me posting some interesting "murals" from various places around the world. I find that graffiti in other parts of the world are rather different from what I've seen in the US. US graffiti is more frequently to be B&W, and also would reflect somebody's tag, rather than being just artistic. I might be wrong, - but in many cases graffiti in other countries is less related to gangs (unlike in the US), and those graffiti are more colorful (as opposed to B&W graffiti in the US). South America seems to be one of the regions with very artistic coloorful murals A year ago, I saw very interesting murals in Santiago, Chile. This year, in August, I was in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a conference, and was lucky to see some amazing murals, most (starting from the 4th) on the last day, just a few hours prior to the departure: http://42graphy.org/galleries/2014-08-BsAsGraffiti/ The photos #2 and #3 are mosaic murals from one of subway stations, the rest are from the streets. What's amazing is that some of them are several (up to 5 or 6!) stories high. All comments are welcome. Igor PS. I just found this article on ABC-news that confirms my observations: http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/story?id=7697519 I especially like the story near the bottom of the 2nd page about a policeman "commissioning" an artist to draw on his house's wall. Also, I just found that a few people/agencies offer street art tours in BsAs: http://buenosairesstreetart.com/tours/ http://graffitimundo.com/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

The lens balances very well on my k-7, which is the same size and weight as your k-5. It doesn't feel heavy and it has the advantage of not changing its length when zooming or focusing. Of course, it is bigger as it is also faster than the Pentax. Sigma says in its web page that the lens weighs 13.9 oz. (395 gr.) If you change your mind, let me know and I'll send the lens your way. I use it very little because I also have a Sigma 18-50 2.8, so it is redundant. In case you want it, I'll also pay for the shipping expenses. Ann, I have a Sigma 18-50 2.8-4.5 OS HSM which I don't use nowadays.
