If you aren't interested in all of the background and want to look at
the photos at your pace, this link should take you to the WWII images on

I love the juxtaposition. The composition is a bit unconventional, but
it seems to work well. On my monitor both this photo, and the west maui

Interesting way to get a yellow gradient background. Can't explain the
blue color, but it looks nice.

I took the opportunity to try using a yellow filter, just to experiment. In
this shot the background is yellow but the crystal itself is mostly blue -
maybe an artifact of having the multi while balance featured enabled. At any
rate - it was something different :

Watching the weather reports - I hope to try some more yellow snow shots
 soon...

Interesting and fabulous images in the finally developed and scanned
rolls. I have to say that me makes the process of developing film sound
most magical when it is really quite mundane. Also surprised that he is
not using stand processing vs conventional development. But again - the
outcome is marvelous.

PESO - butterfly

2015-01-30 Thread Igor PDML-StR

I am not completely satisfied with this photo:
I didn't have much time to shoot it (and I didn't have the magic
motion-stopping spray like Mark C. and a few others have), as I had other
obligations, and only a minute or two for these shots.

I should've closed down the aperture father, instead of keeping it at 4.0
(on 50-135/2.8) to enhance the DOF, making wings being completely in
focus.

Anyway, enjoy!
