Re: OT: Coffee
The capsules themselves are often made completely from recyclable material, so that side is of lesser concern - assuming they stay in the cycle. Of greater concern is the environmental cost of machine production and the oxygen wasted by the people who promote these devices. WRT cost of product, I once overheard sopmeone in a supermarket espousing the chapness of the capsules they had found. Examining the product during an overwhelming burst of curiosity, I found thy were paying over £11 for 100g of coffee. PESO it's a little snowy in Santa Cruz
I got a few quick snaps around Corcoran lagoon this weekend: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/23989491177/in/album-72157690549042455/ For those interested in the whole set: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157690549042455 The first are of chestnut backed chickadees, they aren't very good photographically (those little bastards aren't very cooperative subjects) I posted them so my friend RJ could help ID them. I've got a few of some duck, I don't know what sort, but judging by it's red eyes, it might be wintering here from hell. There's some sort of unidentified pink flower and leaves of what I think might be nasturtiums. -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com (postbox on min4est) http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: PESO: BF
Thanks, Jack Painted ladies are frustrating photographic subjects. The underside of the wings are rather dull, while the upper surfaces much more interesting and colorful. Rxcept in flight, they almost always keep their wings folded, even while feeding. Even when they do open their wings while on the ground or a branch, it is only for a brief "twitch," making it almost impossible to get a good image of the upper wing surface. Swallowtails and even Monarchs are more cooperative in this regard, although never easy. Re: OT: Coffee
On that subject, I recently received a very good espresso/coffee machine. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/illy-reg-y3-2-espresso-coffee-machine/3328580?skuId=61763098&mcid=PS_googlepla_nonbrand_coffeetea_online&product_id=61763098&adtype=pla&product_channel=online&adpos=1o4&creative=224233276482&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&mrkgadid=558372011&mrkgcl=609&rkg_id=h-73354b0251f621c2c41ac0fdecf49233_t-1512482115&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsIXx9oLz1wIViUsNCh0A9AQuEAYYBCABEgIstPD_BwE It requires special capsules, and they are not cheap, but they are extremely convenient, and inexpensive compared to buying coffee from StarBuck or even Duncan Donuts.
