thank you Ann. the initial collage is a wordpress template which
depends on the number of photos and it was quite fortuitous.
perhaps what you have is something closely resembling lime blue
as according to wikipedia its distribution is restricted to south and
southeast asia.

desaturate the background a touch, but the pastel colours and soft

I'm a seriously retro guy - I like old things that still do what I need them to 
do. :-) One of these days I'll shoot photos of some of my antique tools, 
including a few favorites that I still use, like a Stanley bull nose rabbet 
plane that was made between 1872 and 1885 (based on the cutter logo).

see no need to change - most of my pages are not for the general public, so 
they don't need glitz, animation, or sound. They are for specialized interests 
and content is everything.
