I dont like lens bags or lens cases. They get in the way. I use pelican camera
cases with soft dividers. Ultimate protection and convenience.

When I was traveling for business, I had a Halliburton case that had thick foam
inserts that I cut out to receive and isolate lenses and bodies. Worked well
for me for over 18 years - a lot of rough handling and no issues with damage. I
believe Halliburton use to offer replacement inserts for sale - you might try
an auto upholsterer.

…to temptation and get a K-3 iii after it’s been out a year or so.

It was this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDH7NUE5YiM

It is an evaluation of the high-ISO performance of the K-5 iii, and a
comparison to that of the “full-frame” Sony a7 III.

Well, the ISO 204,800 shots from the K-3 are cleaner than I can get from my K-5
at 6400. I do a lot of low-light shooting, especially when traveling, so this
is very attractive.

The K-3 iii sensor appears at least as good in low light as that of the a7 III.
