My next left coast foray will be in early December 2022, probably back again in

K-70 problem

2021-11-26 Thread Rick Womer
Good afternoon all,

My wife has a K-70, which has seen very light use (about 350 photosin 3 years).

She took it out to do some shooting this week, and everything seemed to work
fine, except that all of the photos are =badly= underexposed (most totally
black).

The metering is working well. On live view, the image on the screen looks fine.
The photos recorded on the card are still black.

The things I have done, with no effect, include:
- replacing the battery;
- cleaning the lens and camera contacts;
- trying a different lens;
- updating the firmware;
- trying different exposure modes (TAv and Av give a barely visible image
instead of a black one).

Any other ideas before we send the camera to Precision?
