The Matte Black Edition is the same camera as the K3III monochrome with a
cosmetic change. The regular K3III mono will apparently go on sale very
soon, but it seems a lot of people want to spring for the blacked out
camera.

I just completed a new computer build a few weeks ago as the newest version
of Photoshop didn't like to play nice with my 2016 build. I went pretty
high end as I hate doing this more than once every decade and wanted to
future proof myself as much as possible.
Denoise runs about 20 seconds on my K1 files.

I downloaded the updates last night. It seems to work really well. I tried
it on an ISO 4 image from my K1 and the results were very good indeed.
It pushes the high ISO possibilities we enjoy to the point of
ridiculousness. Now we really can photograph black cats in a coal bin at
midnight and get usable results.

My computer is a 2015 iMac, but it has a 4 GHz i7 4-core. So while it’s not as 
fast as today’s best, it handles the ACR noise reduction in about a minute on a 
33 MH dng.

very slow. You probably need a modern GPU, My GTX 1050 Ti is slow. Topaz is
faster, can't decide which one is better, probably Topaz with some trial
and error. It's very easy to create junk with Topaz. Sharpening in LR after
Denoise is recreating some weird looking noise.

ACR Enhanced Noise Reduction

of ACR that is said to use SI for noise reduction. It does a very nice job.

Pentax K3 Mark III Monochrome Matte Black Edition

Apparently they started taking pre orders for the second run of the new
Monochrome camera earlier today for deliveries in late May.
It sold out in a couple of hours, so if you want one and didn't get an
order in, the next batch is slated for sometime in the summer.
