new (old) member

2005-10-23 Thread Sandra Moore
I decided to come back. I took a few years off. I never stopped taking
pictures though. I hope I have gotten better at it. I got married,
divorced had a baby, and bought a new camera. That just about sums up the
last 4 yrs of my life. I will be lurking and asking questions a lot.

Thank you. I feel as if I am finally finding my way "home". My group
picture is packed away in storage somewhere. It was eaiser that way. I
still have my unbrella and nice Pentax shirt though. I also have a new
*istD cause my pz-70 shot craps the day before I was supposed to shoot a
wedding. I guess that is what actually made me decide to come back. The
last wedding I shot I asked for advice and I pulled all of that out of my
photography file and started remembering.

Goodness I missed you guys. Thanks for still being here.

Last monday I traded it in on a Jeep Liberty diesel. Someone Kept letting
the air out of my tires and the gas out of my tank so I figured I needed
something he didn't regognize as me. I seriously cried longer for the jeep
than I did for my ex. :) I'm savin money though in about two yrs I will
have another real jeep.

Can Anyone give me some pointers

2005-10-31 Thread Sandra Moore
I think the background is way to cluttered. I just didnt' have the heart to
argue with my mother and her sister about it. We have years to get this
right. Any other pointers would be appreciated though.

Sorry it took so long to respond...
Is there some way i could get some pointers on how to revise a page. I am
just using the page wizards I found on the internet. Is there a book that
can teach me to do this right?

If you would really like people to comment you should really revise the
page,
in its current form the page is almost 9MB to open, for this type of
document

it should be well under 500kB.

2005-11-14 Thread Sandra Moore

While cleaning out my granpa's basement I found all kinds of treasures
Yesterday I found a little camera I thought. When I actually opened it it
was a slide viewer. It is made by GNC. On the box it says model 101 35mm
precieison viewer. Patent pending. It isn't scratched or anything it is
kindof neat.

Circuit City has them, and I'm sure that other Ipod vendors have them too.

It's a gift certificate for the iTunes Music Store. Apple Stores sell
them, not sure who else does, but likely most places that sell iPods will
sell iTunes Cards.

Santa Dropped by my house last night

2005-12-12 Thread Sandra Moore

Santa came by last night and asked me if they had a power grip for the *ist
ds. I told him i didn't know but I would look into it. While he was there
he dropped off an ipod shuffle, a stand for the ipod, two gift cards for the
ipod, speakers for the ipod and my favorite a Sekonic light meter. It is
the Sekonic Auto-Leader model l-188. I think i am going to have a lot of
fun with it. Hopefully it will make the pictures of Sami a bit better.

Hope Santa is as nice to you as he was to me already this year.
