The only lens I bought on e-bay that I know for sure was stolen had a very detailed description from a very knowledgeable seller with clear photographs. You haven't even glimpsed the real Dr Williams, not by a bloody long shot. Just like I said - you poor little man - you can't leave it alone. What I wrote was considered carefully and true. You always know best and its very boring. Why don't you stop trying teach all the Grandmothers and Grandfathers on this list how to suck eggs. John, Those conclusions - which shall remain private - were based on three significant words in the message I quoted. Talking about buying things on eBay. It's still the place to look first, no question about that. I don't know about KEH, but Henry's is reliable and the descriptions are accurate. Very perilous. I find those prices just low enough to indulge many times. Case in point, my new bargain chrome MX arrived today. Some pitting of the chrome around the edges, but an apparently nicely functional and aesthetically pleasing camera. Since I like samll cameras, I'm really pleased with this one, and I plan to give it try tonight at the ball game. My daughter was surprised at how heavy it was. Her generation is more used to plastic and don;t share some of the prejudices that we older folks have since plastics were not nearly as good when we were there age. I fin the the wieght reassuring, however. Beware KEH. Having seen KEH mentioned on PDML several times, I took a look at their website today.
