A bleak scene to be sure but the composition is most excellent. I like the way so many lines flow towards the rock in the right center of the frame. The lines in the image also approximate the golden ratio in many ways. Indeed. In Hebrew though, this word is used without the following "al"... Though usually it is "nahal" which is a proper Hebrew term for intermittent water flows... This was pretty amazing, though I don't hike, so I am probably easily impressed. Granted, even Israelis often confuse the name of the wadi and call it Wadi Haverim, which is inaccurate. But, beside the linguistics - this is relatively easy hike and if you look it up in Google you will find that this is outstanding photographic location.
