I am the same way. I don't wear eyeglasses, but I just can't work comfortably with it all the time. Mine is in a pouch and will only get used in some situations. I don't find it a replacement for the regular cup. -- Bruce Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 12:30:28 AM, you wrote: LK> On Tue, 13 Mar 2007, Jim King wrote: >>> On Mar 13, 2007, at 10:37 PM, Godfrey DiGiorgi wrote: How is it on eye-relief? Seems a bit of a toss up to me. I don't watch the in-viewfinder displays all that much when shooting, but occasionally want to see them. More important is whether I can see what I'm doing regards focusing and framing without having to move my eye and face around too much. Maybe if I get contacts it will be a boon, but with glasses it is probably more restrictive than I'd care for. Re: Enablement: O-ME53 Magnifying Eyecup
Yes, forgot to reply about that. In fact I was quite interested in what you were thinking about this camera because I bought it second hand as a present for my father (used to his full auto PZ10..). When I got it I sweared I would never offer a camera like that: plastic everywhere :( In the end I offered a KM to my father :) But I used the KR10-X some months later at a concert: it was not obvious at all I could take photographs and thought I'd come with hardware I wouldn't cry if it had to the dustbin. I shoy with the KR10-X, a badly worn-out chinon 50/1.4 (rated quite bad 20 years ago) and Tri-X. Result is: I dunno if I'll take photogrpahs as good as those (taking into account it was the first time ever, I was taking photographs at a concert). It seems this little plastic thing does VERY well with Tri-X :) :) That's my little story about my KR10-X. -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille -- K10D,Z1,SuperA,KX,MX, P30t and KR-10x ;) ... -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

You can improve things a bit by folding the soft rubber cup back behind the hard plastic; so that your eye can move closer.
