Exhibition preview tonight.

2003-02-07 Thread Lasse Karlsson
Hi all,

Just want to say that there will be a sort of a kick-off or preview
of my exhibition tonight in a couple of hours.
I'm late and pretty exhausted, but I have managed to finish 12 of the
planned 24 images that finally will make the exhibition.
I'm going to put up these twelve at tonight's opening concert of the
ten day jazz festival I've been working on.
As for the pictures (20x30 cm), well I am rather impressed. They are
good, a few of them very good.
Will be interesting to see or hear what people will think of them.
Got to take a shower and rush off to get them on the wall.

Till later,
Lasse

Thanks guys! (and to those who wrote me off-list)

(What's the level after exhausted? Thats where I am right now, on some
sort of an auto-pilot.)

Yes, it turned out pretty well in the end, although there was another
delay in getting the (un)foldable screens in place onto which I hanged
the pictures. (One of them fell to the floor and broke at the corner
of the frame, but glass reained intact.)

I got a lot of nice comments on the photos. I was quite pleased.
It's very nice to have people paying attention to your stuff and
telling you about it face to face. Many people found very specific
details that they liked, and picked out different favourites.
Since I only got them ready and hurried down to the club/restaurant,
they were kind of new to me too, in that size and framing. That was
interesting.

(Btw, earlier today I was intervied on the radio about the festival
and was also asked bout my exhibition which gave me an opportunity to
promote it.)

I still got another twelve photos to pick out. I guess it will be by
early next week.
I'll keep you updated.

Lasse

Lasse,

It's very good news! I'm glad the pre-show went well. Is there a chance of
seeing your pictures (preferably those that are going on display) on the
web? Sorry, if you already posted the URL, but I'm unable to keep up with
the list (aroung 800 unread messages in my inbox now).

Regards and best of luck the exhibition proper,
Lukasz
