You did get several pics of Debbie, however, and she's the more photogenic anyway. Nice selection of shots. Steven Desjardins Department of Chemistry Washington and Lee University Lexington, VA 24450 (540) 458-8873 FAX: (540) 458-8878 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Tremendous photos, Marnie!! You really captured the spirit of the event. They'd be even better in b&w, taken with film, on a Pentax. I owe you an e-mail off-list. Sorry, it's all I can do to keep up with the list right now (like you, still feeling kind of burned out from GFM!). cheers, frank "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds. Remember, I consider these SNAPSHOTS, not really serious photos (though one or two may be somewhat nice). I'll be putting up some scenery and animal shots later. Enjoy! (Or not, as the case may be.) Marnie aka Doe ;-) The tall and elegant one. I am savor that one for years. Well, right up until someone posts an unflattering shot of *me.* Hehehe.

Oh, I had a good time -- when I was at PDML central -- it was just everything else. I really enjoyed meeting *everyone.* :-) Serious recommendation to anyone going in the future -- plan on camping on the mountain, you really miss too much if you don't. Miss too much of the socializing and it's too easy to miss or be late for the lectures and other conference events. Me, I don't camp anymore, but anyone planning on going to future GFMs should seriously consider camping along with the others. However you can manage it. Marnie aka Doe

Btw, what lens were you using for the third and fourth shots on page 1? Interesting bokeh Regards, Ryan -- Canon glass. Not helpful, see? No, actually, now that I think about it might have been the Tamron 70-300 with a macro function (which I didn't use). I had the same lens when I had the ZX-5n and wanted it again. Actually, I am not sure, I kept switching lenses, it may have been Canon glass. But I had it on quite a bit during the weekend. Left it on all one day. Anyway, I do recommend that one. I really like it. Marnie aka Doe

All in good time - I went through on the plane and selected those to be optimised - but won't get a chance to do it until Saturday. I'll have it ready during the weekend, so stay tuned!
