We got snow today, too, and the temps are down to about -20C tonight (that's a heat wave for Wheatfield). -20C is around -5F. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Thanks Frank. We got some more snow today, and we'll get subzero F temps tonight. Lots of winter. PESO: Shade Garden
On the east side of my house, under some spruces, oaks and pines, I've planted a shade garden of hosta, rhododendron, trillium and lily of the valley. In the winter, only the rhodies poke their heads bravely above the snow, while curling up their leaves in defense against the winter wind.
