Paul, I am thinking that you cut off just a bit too much off the head of that person who holds a beer glass in one hand and a cue (am I right that the stick with which one plays pool is called cue?) in another. I think that that person, the main subject's face, and the ball on the table would make very comfortable compositional triangle... Good analysis. I have one more frame after this, so the pic wasn't his shot. Just moving the cue. In the next shot, it's drawn further back. I don't know him, but he appeared to be quite good. If I recall he made a couple tough shots while I was watching this game. He and his partner were playing the two women in the back. The big redhead and the girl with the stones t-shirt. They are very good, and they won this game. This is an eight week annual eight-ball tournament that involves about twenty teams, playing once a week. The two women are on the team that won the championship the last couple of years. Every round of the tournament is a three game set. Out of the three games, you have to use at least four different players, and two of them have to be women. The best teams have killer women of course. Fun stuff. -- Thanks, DougF (KG4LMZ) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: PESO - Shooter
Ah, OK! :-D Eddie used to hustle quite a bit, so I thought you might know him. He owned a bar called The Rack up until the early 90's and a lot of good players went through there. I used to play there some, and shot a decent game for a couple of years, but burned out. I've tried picking up a stick a couple of times since then, but I just don't enjoy it at all anymore. Anyhoo ... just thought I'd ask. -- Walt On 2/18/2011 12:07 AM, Doug Franklin wrote: On 2011-02-18 0:39, Walter Gilbert wrote: Hey, Doug ... have you ever played against a guy named Eddie Moore out of Paducah, KY by any chance?
