I thought it was for close ups of branded filters. g Peter - Original Message - From: Bob W [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, January 05, 2004 8:27 PM Subject: Re: PUG Submissions for 2004 Hi, Also, noticed that August is for BW submissions. Is that for real BW, or does C-41 BW get included as well as desaturated color? it's for pictures of zebras, nuns, penguins, waiters and skunks. -- Cheers, Bob

Hi, was the car a Fiat Panda, or perhaps an old police black white? -- Cheers, Bob it's for pictures of zebras, nuns, penguins, waiters and skunks. Too bad I didn't get a photo of the skunk that skunked my car on Xmas eve.
Re: PUG Submissions for 2004
Y'all taking it too serious. I've submitted color shots before that wind up in the BW section. They didn't have much saturation. Relax and shoot. The PUG is precious because of two things: a) You don't get turned away, ..and especially: b) comments are NOT posted on PUG. They're posted here, and we all know that most of the folks here are idjuts. I really like the fact that comments happen here, on PDML, in a totally separate space. Quite better than, say, Photo Net. We have something very good going on. -Lon Bob W wrote: Also, noticed that August is for BW submissions. Is that for real BW, or does C-41 BW get included as well as desaturated color?

Hi, Shel, I'm bringing the APX 100 in tomorrow for developing (I have a couple of things ready for pick up tomorrow, so I can kill two birds with one stone). I'll definitely tell Robert the developer to use Rodinal at 1:100. We'll see what he says... Digital TX, eh? Such impure thoughts, Shel! thanks! frank The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears it is true. -J. In these contemporary times I suppose it's only results that count, not how you get 'em. Too bad we can't push a button and get TX to give us digital results ;-)) Are you getting the APX 100 developed in Rodinal, and, if so, what dilution? I love it at 1:100 ... EI depends on lighting conditions, of course, as does time in the soup. _ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963
PUG Submissions for 2004
I was checking out the themes for 2004 and noticed that there are no open months :-(( Also, noticed that August is for BW submissions. Is that for real BW, or does C-41 BW get included as well as desaturated color?

Each month has both an open and themed gallery. but my guess is that the BW gallery would include real BW along with c41 and desaturated. Otherwise, folks with digital wouldn't be able to play. I'm guessing that it's the final product that's important, but what do I know? BTW, shot a roll of APX 100 last week. Bringing it in to be developed on Tuesday.
