The rendering of the nose seemed to be a cause for consternation with a few 
people. Note, this is not a DOF issue, or a lens issue, but a rendering 
issue in Photoshop.

Bill,

I like both versions of the photo.
Nice mood, very nice backdrop - it goes well with her hair and
other colors (those play up in contrast), and it helps to tone 
down the shirt (or whatever it is).
I am not bothered much by the makeup.

The shadow on the right is a bit too deep to my taste, and this
is more noticeable in the BW version.
I guess that what you wanted to have the kicker for. Correct?
(I was not familiar with this term before).
I would try a bit of fill-in flash correction in the LR or PS.

The out-of-focus nose is next in line. 
Did you retouch it? I am surprised to see it this soft at f11.

***this* is what's bugging me. That 85 1.4 is one of the best lenses
on the planet ever, right? But on the 1.5 sensor the DOF is just neither
here nor there on that nose. I would love to see the same pic wide open
- that lens was born to perform at 1.4 :-))

The eye makeup doesn't bother me.  But I do get distracted by the
out-of-focus rendering of the nose.  The teeth don't help, either.
