Maybe it was Lightroom 3. It wasn't a big deal, I had to fax them a copy of my student ID & the receipt for my tuition that semester. Photoshop student/teacher never worked for me because I was already a registered user & the upgrade price was less than student/teacher. By the time CS6 came along with the jump to the extended edition I had already graduated. Student/teacher was a good deal because they didn't disqualify it from future upgrades. Maybe they'll see the error of their ways and someday there will be another version. Photoshop has become pretty much a graphic designer's tool these days. CS6 Extended Student & Teacher Edition is $344 from Academic Superstore. Student/Teacher edition qualifies for upgrades just like regular shrink wrap editions. But I don't know if there's ever going to be a CS7 to upgrade to. The upgrade from CS5 to CS6 Extended was $399. They didn't appear to offer a non-extended version of CS6 at the time I upgraded & they were also going through all that rigamarole about only allowing upgrades from one level back.
