Same to you, John and all. The menorah on the mantle has been replaced
by a Christmas tree in the living room and it's Christmas eve now here
in the Upper Midwest. Cloudy and 21F (-6C) here with snow on the ground
so we'll have our White Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you as well! It's Christmas Eve here and its where
even communist rebels still celebrate Christmas.

I became accustomed to saying "happy holidays" when I worked in NY in the
eighties. With a large Jewish population, it made sense, and it was universally
practiced. But it wasn't considered PC behavior, as it is today. I still say
happy holidays when Hanukkah and Christmas intersect and I don't know the faith
or ethnicity of the person to whom I'm speaking. But this year, since the
holidays aren't simultaneous, everyone, including my Jewish friends, gets a
Merry Christmas. Two weeks ago, everyone got a Hannukah

Thank you everyone and have a wonderful politically uncorrect
CHRISTMAS - only exception is if you're subscribed to a different
faith.
Choose your favorite poison wisely and remember: never mix, never worry.
For those of you who hate Christmas, my thoughts go out to you especially!!!
