Shel, Some interesting cameras... The purple on the camera is nice, even the strap is okay by me, but that cold 'leatherette' just does not do it for me :-) Cesar Panama City, Florida > [Original Message] > From: Shel Belinkoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: 11/5/2004 5:59:48 PM > Subject: Re: OT: A Leica for Cesar > > http://www.cameraquest.com/TAnotcoll.htm > > Much more interesting Leicas ... > > Scroll down for Tom's Jerry Garcia Purple Haze M4 Commemorative > > Shel > > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=30030&item=3849300682 > &rd=1 > > > Actually not too bad I thought... > >
RE: OT: A Leica for Cesar
Frank, I cannot say that the red is the right choice for that camera, especially as it clashes with the red Leica dot. Though, I am sure that the feel of the camera is enhanced. I must admit that I have only handled a Leica once. If anyone wants to lend me one for a while :-) Different strokes for different folks - I have been wondering idly about reskinning some of my other cameras though... If only I can get some free time - even my original Bianchi has been sitting neglected :-( Cesar Panama City, Florida P.S. Yeah I was just thinking that... sort of thing where you'd have to think hard about what to wear when you went out shooting with it (maybe dust off the old pimp-outfit) (-: Or put it in a glass cabinet. David frank theriault opined: Cool, but only in the hands of others, IMHO. I wouldn't be caught dead with one.
