Billy was at school this morning and the teacher asked all the children
what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came out -
Fireman, policeman, salesman, chippy, captain of industry etc. but Billy
was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about
His father.

My father is an exotic dancer in a gay club and takes off all his
clothes in front of other men and give them lap dances. Sometimes if the
offer is really good, he'll go out with a man, rent a cheap hotel room
and let them sleep with him.

The teacher quickly set the other children some work and took little
Billy aside to ask him if that was really true. No said Billy, He
plays cricket for England, but I was just too embarrassed to say...

Hey...this Aussie has no problems whatsoever with gloating. We'd
already won the Ashes, the 5-0 clean sweep was just embarrassing.

The thing is, I spared the list this and contained myself to the
DPReview Pentax forum.

Except for the Adelaide test, the series was as boring as bat s$t. I
was happy to see Langer, McGrath Warne go out on a high though.

2009 should be interesting.

BTW: the Rugby World Cup is on this year. So we're going to have to
get used to loosing before then.

28 overs to go - 2 wickets in hand - 7.28 per over.

 The Kiwis should romp in.

  Update; this pulled from cricinfo:

Grant Farquhar is depressed at the NZ show . I cannot remember a

more pitiful display of batting from our top players. Sad,
  really,
  sad.

  We're currently 58/8, chasing 262. I don't think the Brits need

G'day.
The only way the Poms can beat the Kiwis is to throw an Ugg boot into the
change room before the match.
The Kiwis will be too buggered to play then. ;-)

Hooroo.

 What a shambles. I'm gutted.
