Re: Batteries in general
Hi! I did not buy too many new camera bodies. In fact only one - the ZX-L. After I went through the first set of original batteries in less than 20 films and bought 750 g. heavy Soligor lens I also bought the FG grip. It is excellent thing to have - no headache about the exotic batteries, way better feel of camera in hand. That's of course was my own mileage... --- Boris Liberman www.geocities.com/dunno57 www.photosig.com/viewuser.php?id=38625
Re: Batteries in general
I didn't either when I got my ZX-L, but is currently thinking about it. The thing is that I like the small size. :-( Paul Since we're on the subject. My MZ-6/ZX-L uses CR-2's, and it's eaten through two sets since I bought it less than a year ago. I use this body for about half of my photographs, and use a manual lens on it about 40% of the time. When I bought it I didn't think it worth the money for the AA battery pack Fg. Well, I've ordered a the battery pack now. With the cost of replacing the 2 CR2's here in Perth (AU$28) I figure it should pay for itself in about 18 months. Do other PDMLers always by a battery pack with a new body? Cheers, Simon PS - My spell checker wants to change PDMLers into "Peddlers". I think there's something in that for everyone... _ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus

I use this body for about half of my photographs, and Only 2 sets of batteries in a year? You don't shoot much :-) My opinion is that you soon exceed the cost of the camera in those CR2 batteries. The $25 AA grips pay for themselves. Not only that, A set of AAs seem to run forever.
