Great photo Jack!  I agree with Ken as the light buildings on the dark
rock are the best part for me.  Love the flag and the trees as well.
It's funny how so many of these lighthouse buildings are
interchangable.  The red roofs and white buildings could be Racine
Wisconsin just as easily as coastal California.  I think many were
built within the same 25 year span with federal money.

(Sad to say that we went up the coast but stopped short of Eureka.
Saw the Redwoods and the Hippies.  It was like a trip back to the 60's.)

Thanks again, Bob. The Redwoods have been sort of a benign photo frustration 
for me. Have never gotten a shot even close to what I'd even consider OK. 
Poor light and close quarters have beaten me...so far.

Thanks, Ken. I always carry a bean bag which is fairly weighty. It's made in 
such a way that it might have worked well if laid over the camera body and 
rested partially on the lens. I really can't imagine draping my arm over the 
lens without this lens picking up my heart beat, but I'll keep it in mind. :)

  Great light, nice subject. Might be stronger with out
 the inclusion of the water along the lower edge.
  
  BTW you might try draping an arm over the lens to
 dampen any motion.
