MX Question. (Was Re: Black MX Body Ex+)
New to the pentax world so forgive me if this is an obvious answer but What are the main differences between the MX and my K-1000. Externally, from a user-interface perspective, the MX is *much* smaller than the K1000 and has a self-timer and depth-of-field preview (push the self-timer lever in towards the lens mount). Through the viewfinder, the MX displays the selected shutter speed and aperture and has a series of 5 LEDs instead of a needle to show over/under exposure. Functionally, the MX has user-interchangable focusing screens, a much more sensitive and linear Gallium-Arsenide Photodiode light meter and accepts either a 2 fps auto-winder or 5 fps motor drive. >New to the pentax world so forgive me if this is an obvious answer but What >are the main differences between the MX and my K-1000.
