This is a very fine quality lens which I have used extensively. $600 including insured shipping within the U.S. I'll ship any of these outside of the U.S. but would have to do some research to figure out shipping costs. Re: FS - All lenses plus one body
(This second post is to try to make easier reading the list. Sorry for the inconvenience.) Hi, all. I’m a long time Pentax user (since 1984), lurking PDML since 1997 (very few posts, I know), AOHC member since 1998 (thanks, Dario) and I’m still shooting film (Pentax 35mm, 645, 6x7 and 67II). Over the years I have been buying great 35mm lenses but some of them are redundant in my “warehouse” and are seldom used. Now, I need to prepare myself for the big step: new APS-C flagship and/or 645D. That is the reason of this sale. I tried to be accurate while evaluating the gear condition and used the KEH grading system. If you are interested please contact me off the list. I can send photos of the lenses/camera if requested. I’ll only accept Paypal. The prices do not include postage or insurance. I live in Portugal (EU). The remaining items will go to ebay. Thanking in advance. Re: FS: Pentax Lenses, Cameras stuff
John, Interesting question. It appears that the lens has 5.6, 8, 11 and 16, but not 22 (which is labelled on the aperture ring). The aperture goes from wide open at 5.6 to way stopped down at 16, but does not stop down further when you set it to 22. I've had a few generic adapters apart (as well as a few 'K' mount lenses) and I know the setup is sensitive - I'm not going to play with this one, but maybe somebody else knows if the missing one stop is a common condition for TX to K adapters (?) The aperture position tab does move when the ring is moved from 16 to 22, so the camera body would be fooled into metering for f/22, even though the lens was actually at f/16 (maybe I should reduce the price by $15?). Jim www.jcolwell.ca ---John's question--- Jim, Question about the vivitar 400 tx mount. I have a vivitar 300 tx mount. Lens has 5.6 but with TX to PK mount the max f/stop is 8. Is the 400 the same? Re: FS - telephoto lenses stuff
I hear ya Bill. I've still got to get that Fisheye and probably the 45 for my 67. Only problem is, that I'm about out of 35mm gear to sell without serious holes in my 35 kit.
