Bruce - That is how I have been designing web pages for more than 20 years. I 
see no need to change - most of my pages are not for the general public, so 
they don't need glitz, animation, or sound. They are for specialized interests 
and content is everything.

seriously retro aesthetic.

Larry -

I'm a seriously retro guy - I like old things that still do what I need them to 
do. :-) One of these days I'll shoot photos of some of my antique tools, 
including a few favorites that I still use, like a Stanley bull nose rabbet 
plane that was made between 1872 and 1885 (based on the cutter logo).
