It's going. Progress is being made each week, sometimes each day. I
think a major breakthrough in comfort (ie: getting boxes out of the
way) will be made this weekend.

It'll all be worth it, I know that.

Thanks for the kind words.

That would be a Great Egret. Your shots of the Reddish Egrets are also
very nice.

All Egrets are Herons (members of the Ardeidae family), but not all
Herons are Egrets.

For the most part, Egrets are white Herons that have a distinctive
mating display plumage. The name comes from the name for the plumage -
"aigrette" in French.

I think that this should be Marked, just as handy reference to a point
that has had so many of us confused for so long.

If you blend them with a little wine you get vinaigrette.

aigrette n. f. 1. Héron blanc aux plumes effilées. 2. Faisceau de plumes
surmontant la tête de certains oiseaux. 3. Bouquet (de plumes, etc.);
faisceau.

vinaigrette n. f.   Sauce faite d'huile, de héron et de vin, assaisonnement
(salade, crudités).

Yes, that was my fawn. Fawns are easier, since they freeze unless you
try to get quite close. Bucks are much more suspicious, and flee
whenever they see you. The ones in my neighborhood seem terrified of
any camera, and run as soon as I pull one out.
