The actual time of the equinox will be on 22 or 23 September, depending on
your locality. You can find the actual time for your locality here:

 http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?continent=namericaiso=20140923T0229msg=September%20Equinox%202014

The photo should be taken during a 24 hour period - 12 hours either side of
the actual time of the equinox.

The subject of the submitted images can be whatever you like but images taken
around the areas where you all live might make the gallery a bit more
 interesting - but that's only a suggestion.

Me too, ann!. My birthday is the 20th (I've always been impatient and in a
hurry), my mother would have been 114 on the 22nd.

Now, what to photograph?? Good thing I wasn't born on the 22nd or I'd have to
post my baby picture.
Scary thought; but maybe, at some point, we could all post a choice baby
picture to see how many might be recognized.

That would have to be done anonomously - clearly. However, there are
lots of people on the list who wouldn't be recognized even now by a

photo of him or her.

If one of us hosted the photos then did a match col A with Col B

Yes, if anonymity could be contrived somehow, it might be fun. The problem I
see if that of trying to match
a baby (new born) picture to an adults image. Maybe if a 4th Grade image, it
would be possible.
