Hi Juan, It was taken at dusk in an ugly day. The artificial light and the movement made the tones and rendition (taken with handheld digicam). Yes, it's a nightmare building (used until a couple of years ago). To be honest, the treatment was due to available shooting conditions, but I like what I got too. I should really think before I post. There's no way you could understand, it has to do with a Photo show I attended recently. One of the photographers works was a tiny out focus picture of a beach house. It was so out of focus that if if weren't for the title you wouldn't know what it was. Printed in very low contrast, and sepia toned, (think a muddy splotch). She was asking $75.00 for a matted print. Your photo bears a certain superficial similarity. The link works for me, but the photo doesn't. It does look like an ancient picture that spent years in someone's wallet. And I understand the desire to communicate the ugliness of the building and what it stands for, but I think you could find a better, more aesthetically interesting way to accomplish that.
