It is indeed quite jewel-like.  The chrysalis is bright jade green, and the
row of spots along the top, as well as the spots near the bottom, are
golden and shiny.

Interesting. We have a similar thing here where the Diadem female & one 
form of the Mocker Swallowtail female mimic the African Monarch. There 
are several Acraea species which mimic the African Monarch too but they 
are toxic anyway.
