Re: PESO: Late night shopping
Thanks for comments. I will have to post worse ones, to get some witty critique - OTOH better not ;-) I was lucky on that one - I usually can't frame from the hip well enough to not chop off people's heads _completely_ unlike this one. The tramway blur was a bit intentional, as I saw it approaching and wanted something like that, but otherwise, mostly just luck :) BTW, does the caption show up well? I have seen some problems with the caption to the right of photograph showing juxtaposed over the photograph in Internet Explorer (which I don't have at home), especially in the photo of G.W.Bush - I guess I did another mistake with the HTML. frank> And, yeah, that's a rather odd thing to be buying that time of night, Well it seemed it was completely new, and he had a full shopping bag in his other hand... But perhaps I should be more conservative with captions - I was never good at them :-( > Shootng Cotty style from the hip. cotty> Nah *old boy* (is that right ) don't ;-) Good light! fra

Hi Frantisek this is a funny pic, *somebody* gets a nice present. It would be even better if you had been a little bit farer away when taking the photo, but for a snapshot it is well made. greetings Markus > >>Subject: PESO: Late night shopping >> >> >>Found this man, with the strange thing he apparently bought, one >>late Prague >>evening. Exposure seems spot on. I like the tight framing, cutting off the top of the subject's head. Crop, or is that full-frame? Either way, I like it! And, yeah, that's a rather odd thing to be buying that time of night, isn't it? A fun and thought-provoking photo. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson

Great shot. You may have been shooting blind, but you ended up with a nice composition. Good work. Paul > Found this man, with the strange thing he apparently bought, one late Prague > evening.
