Hi!

After shooting the Mittens at dusk, We were able to turn around and
look out of the valley at this last display of light. MV, by the way,
is Monument Valley.

Pentax *istD, DA 16-45/4, Handheld
ISO 800, 1/250 sec @ f/6.7
Converted from Raw using Capture One LE

Bruce,
Beautifully rendered.
Didn't the scene make you want to run at top speed to
the east of the mittens?
I know the answer.

Re: PESO - MV Sunset

2005-07-21 Thread Bruce Dayton
Thanks. You're right of course. Before sunset, we drove around to
several places trying to decide where we'd like to be to get the best
shots. You've seen where we ended up. The sunset doesn't last long,
so you really only get one location to shoot from. I suppose if you
weren't a tourist and had the time to spend many nights in the valley
you could really get some great shots. I did what I could with the
one afternoon/evening allotted to me.
