If it's a broken script, why does some experience trouble and others don't? The file itself is pretty large too, about 225kb. So on dialup, you need some patience. Could be that the site tries to display the site in the native language belonging to specific IP ranges. If the site then fails to recognise Shels IP address, or decide that it belongs to a range that it doesn't have a language for, then the code stalls. Must be a bug in that particular site, at least. It could be that Shel is using Internet Explorer with script debugging switched on. I had to turn it off when I first installed IE 6: it's under Tools/Internet Options/Advanced, ITH.
