Thanks Paul. House finches are native to the western US, and were introduced to the east early last century. They first appeared in Michigan and Wisconsin in the ‘80s and ‘90s. One eye or two, it doesn't lessen my enjoyment of watching him grow up and enjoy his kittenhood, and unlike with my other cats, his youthful exuberance and antics will be well documented.
