Re: Pentax macro lens with new approach
Makes sense even though it is not obvious. Focusing distance is measured sensor plane to subject, working distance front element to subject. I have a Canon FD 4/200 Macro spec'd at 58 cm focusing distance but the lens extends so much when in macro that working distance is a mere 19 cm. Still way better than my DFA 50/2.8 in close combat =) Cheers Ecke 2009/12/17 Frits Wüthrich : > A working distance of 13 cm in life-size applications, but a minimum > focusing distance of 0,303 m (= 30.3 cm). > Magic. > > Frits > > On 17-12-2009 7:41, eactiv...@aol.com wrote: >> >> In a message dated 12/11/2009 6:12:53 A.M. A working distance of 13 cm in life-size applications, but a minimum focusing distance of 0,303 m (= 30.3 cm). Magic.
