Aha! Yes, progressive bifocals can certainly cause problems with viewfinders. Every time I get a new pair, it takes some adjustment. I used to take my glasses off to shoot, but that's a PITA. Now, I just make sure I'm looking through the top of the glasses, where there is uniform distance correction. Below the top 40% or so of the lenses, things get very wonky. I'm also impressed as hell with what I'm seeing from my mates Canon 5DMkII. For those who shoot in sub optimal lighting, these bigger sensors are the ducks nuts.
