When I had a pair of inkjet Epsoj printers, one of them found in the street and successfully recovered using this software, I used this SSC Service Utility to clean their heads with great results. It hasn't been updated for very long and I don't know if it will work in present Windows versions, but its head cleaning options worked much better than the ones in the original Epson printer driver. You might give it a try instead of trying more drastic cleaning methods.
