[Phono-L] Looking for info or a 2/4 minute attachmet.
Hello all, I posted a message several days ago and saw no replys. I have a Columbia BE in fantastic condition and I would really love to find a 2/4 minute attachment for it. It is the same attachment that fits the BK, BF, BG, BO and the BQ. If anyone has a complete attachment for sale I would really love to know and if you have any leads to where I can find one, it would be most helpful. Thanks much as alwasy, Kenneth Keeton ___ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.org

Re: [Phono-L] question for purple cylinder
The color of BA records very from light blue to a very dark blue. I have seen a purple one on eBay that was not one of the Royal Purple series. It was a different color of purple, but it was purple. I think I even have one. Edison used dye which varied in color. Steve From: maff...@bresnan.net To: phono-l@oldcrank.org Date: Sun, 22 Jul 2012 22:48:51 -0600 Subject: [Phono-L] question for purple cylinder Phono listers: My wife found a purple Edison ( I assume) cylinder as she has been told to buy them when she finds them as they are a little mor sought after than run of the mill blue ones. When we looked at it, it did not start with 29**, it had the number of 3790 title: everybody wants a key to my cellar Not what I was expecting when she said she found a purple cylinder. She claims it is the same purple color. The lettering is not gold however, it is white. So..: What is the deal? I thought all purple cylinders were from the 29** series! later Bob ___ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.org ___ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.org
